InsiderTrading.tech ('we,' 'our,' 'us') provides real-time dashboards, alerts, and analytics on insider stock trades extracted from public SEC filings. We are incorporated in the United States and operate from servers located in the US.

We do not collect or store Social Security numbers or full payment card numbers; Stripe processes payments on our behalf.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the service – authenticate you, render dashboards, send trade alerts.
- Process payments – manage subscriptions, handle invoices and refunds via Stripe.
- Improve and secure the platform – monitor performance, debug, run analytics, prevent fraud.
- Marketing & onboarding – send product updates, onboarding tips, newsletters, and promotional offers (you can opt-out anytime).
- Legal compliance – maintain records required by law and respond to lawful requests.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR only)
- Contract – providing the service you request.
- Legitimate interests – analytics, product improvement, fraud prevention.
- Consent – marketing emails, non-essential cookies.
- Legal obligation – bookkeeping, tax, and regulatory duties.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We share data only with:
- Service providers – Stripe (billing), Vercel (hosting/edge analytics), PostHog/Hotjar (product analytics), email platforms (Beehiiv/Mailchimp/Buttondown). All act under contract and process data on our instructions.
- Legal authorities – if required to comply with applicable law, court order, or protect our rights.
- Business transfers – in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (you will be notified).
We never sell your personal information.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use first-party and third-party cookies / similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in
- Measure site performance and usage
- Personalize content (e.g., remember your watchlist)
Where required, a banner lets you manage non-essential cookie preferences.
7. Data Security

- Encryption at rest for sensitive fields
- Role-based access controls
- Regular security patches and audits
No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we follow industry best practices to protect your data.
8. Data Retention
We keep account and billing data while your account is active and for up to 7 years thereafter for legal/tax purposes. Usage logs are anonymized or deleted within 24 months. You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access or download a copy of your data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ('right to be forgotten')
- Object to or restrict processing
- Port data to another provider
- Opt-out of marketing communications

10. International Transfers
We store and process data in the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, you consent to transferring and processing your information in the US, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
11. Children's Privacy
InsiderTrading.tech is directed at users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
